cup of tea, Mrs. Blair?

On Saturday, I witnessed something truly amazing: A Christmas Carol, by Chickenshed Theatre Company.

I know what you’re thinking; I was thinking it too. I’ve seen A Christmas Carol a hundred times, and it can really drag. I played Mrs. Cratchit in it in high school, and I’m pretty sure it dragged then(not to mention Mr. Cratchit had severe halitosis). But this, my friends, did not drag. Chickenshed (so-called because it began in an actual chicken shed years ago) is pioneering inclusive beautiful theatre. Inclusive of all ages, all races, able-bodied and disabled. Absolutely beautiful.

And, to top it all off, I saw Cherie Blair there. That’s Mrs. Tony Blair, to you. I pretended I was texting and took a sneaky photo of her.

Ok, so, that little light dot in the middle is her.
