Things the English Say

There are a few things the English say that just drive me nuts.

One of them is “pet hate” instead of “pet peeve.”*

Where’s the alliteration?

*Is it ironic that this is one of my pet peeves?

  1. ooooh i hate that too. and ‘mind out’ i mean what the heck… i think it comes from ‘mind out of the way’ but seriously. they should just say ‘excuse me’… 🙂
