Unfinished Business

I am the Queen of Unfinished Projects.  Just ask my husband, who marvels at the evidence of my half-done ideas scattered like shrapnel around our house: my dusty mandolin, beaded bracelets with no clasps, packets of unopened herb seeds, scribbled songs with verses but no chorus.

I’m done.

I’m fed up of being the girl who starts things but never finishes them, and I’m determined that 2011 is going to be the Year of Seeing Things Through.

This year, I will:

  • learn to play my mandolin – properly.
  • run a 5k.
  • learn the ins and outs of my new camera.
  • write some songs and record them with my husband.
  • finally open an etsy shop.

And I’m telling you all this so you’ll hold me to it.
