Make Sweet Music

I’m having a bit of a creative awakening, which I’ll write about soon.  I mean, I’ve got quite a few creative projects going on at the moment (including a secret one, the likes of which I’m launching in the next few days – squeee!).  Just one of those projects is a long-time dream of mine: making music with my sweet husband.

I’ll tell you more about this saga soon, but for now, here’s a video of us performing (with our good friend Phil) at a fundraiser for East Africa last week.  Phil and Simon wrote this song (I think, although they’re doing that thing where they give each other credit and never take any for themselves).

Oh yeah, I think my favorite part of this video is the conversation between my sister and brother-in-law at the end.  They just got a new camera and they’re trying to figure out how to use it.  I think we can all relate.

  1. Ahh, this is awesome! I’ve always wanted to make music with my husband (he’s a musician) but I have a terrible voice and not enough skill and discipline to take up an instrument. I’m glad you’re making your dreams come true!
