your life is beautiful

I’m still alive.

I know, I know…I’ve dropped off the face of the earth.

I briefly mentioned a week or two ago that we’d found a new house to rent, and we’re moving into that house this coming Saturday.  I’m so excited, but the moving preparations are taking up every free moment I have and I’m not lying when I say my free moments are few and far between.  Trying to get any packing done with a nine-month-old pulling himself up on your husband’s guitar or eating a roll of toilet paper is nigh on impossible.

That said, things should calm down once we get in over the weekend.

As for the house, I’m extremely excited about it.  It’s in the same neighborhood we live in now, which I LOVE; it has a little backyard for Adlai to play in; and I won’t have to carry Adlai and his stroller up and down the stairs every time I want to go anywhere (we currently live in an upstairs flat, and this is one of the big reasons for the move).

We’ve got so much exciting stuff going on right now in addition to the move.  I promise I’ll fill you in on it ASAP.  Thanks for bearing with me while we move.  I’ll be back to normal soon!

I had to laugh when I read about eating toilet paper! They just put everything in their mouths. I guess that’s why God made mommies. Full time job!

I just popped by to see if you had blogged recently. It’s Friday, I should be feeling fabulous, but instead I’m a little blue and thought hearing from you may make me 🙂 again! Hope all is well, and the move went to plan.
    Love xx
