I am a performer, an artist, and a perfectionist. My perfectionism is my absolute biggest downfall as it often hinders me from just casting away fears and doing my art that I love to do–whether that be singing, writing, dancing, whatever. So I loved reading this, especially your words at the very end. Thank you for posting and for the reminder that the art doesn’t always have to be perfect–but we have to just do it anyway. and not to let “perfect be the enemy of good.”
