Kirste + Duncan | Eclectic Family Wedding

I’ve been waiting for months to share this wedding here. I was so happy that Lou at Whimsical Wonderland Weddings chose to share Kirste & Duncan’s wedding a couple of weeks ago – and I wanted to wait until it was live there to show some of the photos here. Being published on a wedding blog is a big milestone for me, and I knew when I photographed Kirste & Duncan’s unique wedding that it had a good chance of catching a blogger’s eye.

I’m a huge fan of out-of-the-box weddings: days that really represent a couple’s style, personalities, and unique relationship. I love it when people really think about what they like, what makes them happy, and how to help their guests have a great time. Kirste and Duncan were so good at this: he works as event designer (handy, right?) and she has a fun vintage style that came into play in an after-dinner vintage tea room. Between Kirste’s four kids, and Duncan’s twin 6-year-old boys, I was spoilt for gorgeous kids to photograph in incredible outfits (I really love kids dressed up for weddings).

Kirste said one of her favourite things about the photos of their day is that everyone is smiling and laughing – I loved that too! It’s a perfect representation of a day that was filled with so much joy. I hope you enjoy these! If you want to see more, remember you can click the link above and hope on over to Lou’s post at WWW.

xx
