A Smitten Giveaway: Four Hats Press

March 28, 2012

I’m excited to partner with Cory Bordonaro at Four Hats Press to bring you a gorgeous giveaway.

Cory has designed and developed this so-pretty set of letterpressed Calendartines because, as she says, who says Valentines should only be given in February?

With this set of 12 Calendartines, you’ll have a sweet (and lovingly made by a true artisan) way to say “I love you!” each month!

Like April…

...and July…

..and, well, February.

You can view the whole set in the Four Hats Press shop.

Here’s how to enter:

Leave a comment below, telling us who you’ll send your Calendartines to. Β I’ll choose the winner at noon next Wednesday, April 4, by random selection.

Want an extra entry?

Link to the giveaway on facebook OR twitter, and leave a second comment letting me know you’ve done it.

Wham, bam, thank-you-ma’am.

I’ll send my Calendartines to my nearest and dearest. To my fiancΓ©, Ben – the most wonderful man in the world, bar none (sorry Mr Great Smitten) who deserves to know every day how much I love him. To my mom, the most incredible, strong, passionate woman who deserves to know every day how much she inspires me. And to my best friend, who has carried me through many a storm of life, and now it’s my turn to help carry her in a blustery season. I think they would love these Calendartines πŸ™‚
PS. Not to mention I want to win them simply because I have a letterpress addiction and these little gems leave me like a junkie needing a fix.

My grandmother and I send letters back and forth. I would send her these. Also I’d sneak a few to my sister who lives a few states over.
I love the handmade cards. THANK YOU for this awesome giveaway πŸ™‚

Ok. So, firstly, let me say that I don’t usually go on about how great my husband is. Not that there’s anything wrong with people who do; I’m just not that kind of girl and he’s just not that kind of guy. But these beautiful cards have loosened my keyboard. And I didn’t get my husband a Valentine’s card this year (it was a poorly children kind of a week). And he didn’t mind. And he bought me a beautiful letterpress card. So this is for all the times I haven’t changed my Facebook status to: ‘has the best husband in the world’.

My man works hard. And when he gets home he cooks, does the washing and he cleans the toilet. He does so much that I’m embarrassed to join in the ‘who does what at home’ conversations. He is a loving daddy. He plays great games with our toddler and he gets up in the night with our baby. He tells me he loves me every day. He makes me laugh a lot. Sometimes he buys me presents for no reason. He listens to me. He even thinks I’m sexy.

My husband is not perfect but he has integrity. He is funny and faithful and generous. And maybe I should tell him all this just a little bit more often. I reckon those cards would help πŸ˜‰

I would use these cards to surprise my husband since we just got maried in February. I want to use them for our month anniversary for our whole first year. I want this year to be so special and these cards would help communicate how lucky I am!

I would definitely use these cards all for my husband. We just got married on Feb 3rd and for the next year I want to give them to him on the 3rd of every month for our first year of marriage extra special. I want him to feel extra special and us to really cherish this first year.
