This morning, I pulled on my jeans – the same jeans I wore last night (don’t deny it: you wear your jeans several times between washes too). I smoothed my hands over the front and the back and…wait a second…what is that?
A nasty wad of purple bubble gum stuck to the back of my leg. Sick.
I can only assume this came from my movie theatre seat (we went to see Stardust last night). Nasty.
Stardust was great; I loved it. Some friends of mine told me it was better than Princess Bride. Controversial! I disagree, but I would buy it when it comes out on video. Claire Danes does a great British accent; Michelle Pfeiffer does not.
The best American-British-accent-doer is Renee Zellweger. Do you agree?
Rennee or Gwyneth.
I would have to say Gwyneth Paltrow.
My favourite accent doer is Toni Collette (About a Boy, Sixth Sense, Muriel’s Wedding). I think she’s Australian but she does the best English and American accents I’ve ever witnessed on film and she’s a fine actress. More recently she was great in Little Miss Sunshine.
