The newest addition to Adlai’s unintentional giraffe collection.
I think I’m more obsessed with it than he is. In fact, when it came in the mail from Amazon a couple of weeks ago, he mostly just played with the box.
Typical.
This, which I refer to as “Squishy Face.”
Also, look at my big boy in the swing! Big boy!
My color-coded bookshelves.
I get a lot of compliments on this and, can I be honest? Of course I can.
I saw it in a magazine. And then my little sister did it for me because she’s good at this kind of thing.
So there. Go, copy it. Make it yours. And soak up the compliments. I won’t tell if you don’t.
And, while we’re on the subject of home decor…
This would work well for me because nothing here matches. And none of my stuff matches. And do you know why none of my stuff matches?
Because I either a) got it for free, or b) paid $5 for it.
But doesn’t this picture make not matching look good?
…
I can’t even talk about this because I’m too emotional.
*sigh*
…
“Squishy Face” is my favorite thing. EVER.
Oh man. Mine too.
I saw the colour coded on Oprah… “the eye seeks and enjoys order”, all my books and dvds are arranged in a pleasing way, and its not problem finding anything, I know what they all look like off my heart. The same works for clusters of photo frames… they look best grouped in complimentary sets.
wow that giraffe is gorgeous!
I wish I had that many books to attempt the colour coded look… *sad face*
Most of mine are from charity shops. I love books.
i love some color coordinated book shelves!! my sis, callie’s sis, caitlyn, and i all have color coordinated books. the first time i saw that was one time callie and i were at becky keller’s house in raleigh, and callie picked up on it. i think i’ve seen those shelves before in the background of a maternity photo or something. and that is a super precious squishy face!!!
