Marital Problems

June 14, 2011

Simon and I are in the process of making a lot of parenting choices – trying to make sure we’re being consistent with our little man.  But lately, we’ve come to an impasse.

In our 7-and-a-half year relationship and 4-year marriage, we’ve overcome a lot of tough stuff.

But I just don’t know what we’re going to do about this one.

You see…

I say the Wheels on the Bus go round “all through the town”, and he says they go round “all day long.”

We’d appreciate your prayers.

It’s the American/English divide. Therefore, you are both right 🙂 (I was taught ‘all day long’ in true English fashion) x

Tim and I had the same problem!!! As well as the tune of said line. In the end, he won by pulling the “we don’t want our kids to be made fun of” card. Works every time.

I’m with you on this one, Faith 🙂 Here’s proof:

I work in a nursery and I think the only song that doesn’t have either a different tune or slightly different words is Twinkle, Twinkle. And three and four year olds are very quick to point out when you get it “wrong.”

I believe “all through the town” is the way we sang it in kindergarten…therefore…. 🙂
