A few weeks ago, my friend and co-worker, K, told me my car smelled like Play-Doh. I got offended, but she said it was a good thing, that it reminded her of her childhood.
Over the weekend, I washed the outside, vacuumed the floors and the seats, wiped everything down with antibacterial cloths, and plugged in a Cinnamon & Cloves air freshener from Bath and Body Works. My car was looking fine and smelling sweet.
So, you can imagine my dismay when, yesterday, my friends L and JD got in my car to ride with me to lunch and told me it smelled like crayons.
“Yeah,” said L. “You could just stick one of those sharpeners on the side and it’d be a 64-pack.”
Thanks, you guys. Thanks a lot.
frankly, i love the smell of play-doh and crayons…better than smelling like elmer’s glue, right?
I don’t know. I ate a lot of paste in kindergarten, and it smelled about as good as it tasted, which was pd good.
ooh, you were THAT kid.. 🙂 jk
I love it… classic L. comeback!
